How do you manage difficult times? Have you found a sure-fire method for weathering the storms? Life has a way of providing plenty of practice to hone those key skills for surviving and thriving despite the circumstances.
Several months ago, I wrote here about the choice I was making to stay open to the possibility of good things. I'm revisiting this topic today, simply because I need the reminder.
With all that's stirring around me ... in current affairs, in my VA practice, in the daily whirlwind of activities ... it's critical to stay appropriately focused and remain open to the possibility of experiencing more good things. The not-so-good is apparent and real; it serves a necessary role in the play as well.
As I stated in my original post:
Owning a small business, or working as an independent, self-employed professional or solopreneur requires an enormous amount of tenacity, courage, perseverance, and more . . . as you have found (I'm preaching to the choir, eh?). I imagine you've discovered, too, that maintaining a good, constructive, healthful attitude is key to managing this process.
And, again, I realize we are practicing various methods, and hopefully, learning what works best for us. Practice makes perfect (oh, pardon the cliche'). How about this: "practice can make the difference!" Is that better?
